‘A community of ‘brothers and sisters’ Ofsted 2024. We are absolutely delighted with our recent Ofsted inspection! The report recognises our unique, kind and nurturing community, the dedication of our inspirational staff and most importantly the happiness and progress of our pupils. We are all immensely proud of our school. Congratulations to everyone at St Gildas’. – Peter O’Shannessy Headteacher
As Catholic schools we are inspected by the Diocese of Westminster as well as Ofsted, the Government’s inspectors. Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. It reports directly to Parliament and is both independent and impartial. By law it must inspect schools with the aim of providing information to parents, to promote improvement and to hold schools to account.
