The children are supervised by a minimum of two members of staff. There is no provision for children arriving before 8am. To comply with Health & Safety regulations we monitor the number of children attending per session and therefore children must only attend on the specified days that have been agreed when they join the Breakfast Club, or by prior arrangement with Mrs Proietti, the Breakfast Club manager. There is, however, provision for emergency sessions for a small number of children as and when needed.
Each session will cost £5. Sessions are paid for in advance on a termly, half-termly or monthly basis. In certain circumstances payment can be arranged with Mrs Proietti on a weekly basis. Cheques should be made payable to ‘St Gildas’ Catholic Junior School. All sessions have to be paid for even if a child does not attend, as the places are reserved for them, unless notice has been given to Mrs Proietti.
Registration forms are available from the school offices or can be downloaded, see link below. These forms have to be filled in and handed in to St. Gildas’ school office for the attention of Mrs. Proietti. A child will not be accepted without a completed form. Sessions are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
The children are offered a wide choice of breakfast cereals, toast with milk and juices to drink. Activities and games are provided for the children after they have eaten their breakfast. The school behaviour policy is enforced at the breakfast club.
If you have any questions or would like to contact the Breakfast Club manager directly please do so via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
