The children are supervised by a minimum of two members of staff. There is no provision for children arriving before 8am. To comply with Health & Safety regulations we monitor the number of children attending per session and therefore children must only attend on the specified days that have been agreed when they join the Breakfast Club, or by prior arrangement with Mrs Bligh or Ms Marrinan. There is, however, provision for emergency sessions for a small number of children as and when needed.
Each session will cost £5. Sessions are paid for in advance on a termly, half-termly or monthly basis. In certain circumstances payment can be arranged with Mrs Bligh or Ms Marrinan on a weekly basis. Cheques should be made payable to ‘St Gildas’ Catholic Junior School. All sessions have to be paid for even if a child does not attend, as the places are reserved for them, unless notice has been given via email
Registration forms can be downloaded, see link below. Please return the completed forms via email. A child will not be accepted without a completed form. Sessions are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
The children are offered a wide choice of breakfast items, including fresh fruit. Activities and games are provided for the children after they have eaten their breakfast. The school behaviour policy is enforced at the breakfast club.
