Friends’ of St Peter’s and St Gildas’
Throughout the school year The Friends’ of St Peter’s and St Gildas organise activities that are fun, stimulating and educational for the children of both schools. Our main purpose is to raise funds to support the school, as well as promoting opportunities for parents, carers and children to come together.
These include:
- An annual summer fair
- An annual Christmas market
- An annual curry and quiz night
- Regular cake sales
- Discos for the children
- Spotlight talent show
- Regular coffee mornings

The Giving Machine
The Giving Machine is a new way to support our schools fundraising by shopping purchases made via The Giving Machine. Purchases made trigger a retailer charity donation to the Friends of St Peter’s and St Gildas’ at no cost to you. All you need to do is start shopping – the selection of shopping sites is brilliant. Remember to choose ‘St Peter’s and St. Gildas’ R.C. Schools (Friends of)’ as your chosen charity. The list of retailers is extensive, below are just a few of the names you will find. See their website for a full list of the shops.
Last year we raised extra funds by this method.
