4P’s Pastel Hills of Rome

We used pastel techniques to create this abstract depictions of the Seven Hills of Rome alongside the River Tiber. We have been learning about the legend of Romulus and Remus and how Rome was founded.

We were inspired by writer and artist Etel Adnan who paints abstract images and leads a nomadic existence.
