Hot Seating in Year 5

This week we were putting ourselves into the shoes of Dr. Leila, a character from our current class book Oranges in No Man’s Land by Elizabeth Laird. The children did an excellent job answering questions from the class on Dr. Leila’s thoughts and feelings about Ayesha, her situation and the Lebanon civil war they were living within.
