St Gildas’ Student Council Sponsored Read

One of the aims of the Student Council this year is to get new and contemporary books into our class libraries, and we asked you for help!

On Monday 25th November, all the classes in the school took part in a 60 minute sponsored read. We asked our friends and families to sponsor us for every minute we read. We were able to read whatever we wanted, and brought in soft toys and blankets to make it a really cosy time!

We really enjoyed our hour of reading in class – we wish we were able to do it every day!
