The Into Film Schools Festival

Chestnut Class were thrilled to attend a screening of the film ‘The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part’ in 3D as part of the Into Film Schools Festival. It was our first school trip so we were very excited. We took the W3 bus to the Vue cinema in Wood Green and passed many local landmarks on the way. For many of us it was our first experience of a 3D movie, so wearing the 3D glasses was a real novelty. We enjoyed watching the much loved mini figurines travel to another galaxy to save their city from duplo invaders from outer space. We came back to school and enjoyed our packed lunch in our warm and cosy classroom. We then role played the story with our duplo and lego toys. Thank you to all our parent helpers who came with us and helped to keep us safe. We hope you had as much fun as we did!
