The Jigaree

Chestnut Class have really enjoyed learning about ‘The Jigaree’.  The Jigaree is a wonderful early emergent book by author Joy Cowley. It is both warm and exciting for early reading skills in reception. We have been reading the story together, and learning focus words from the book. We have also been doing some shared writing around the text and have drawn our very own jigarees.
