The Ugly Duckling

We have been reading and learning about the story of ‘The Ugly Duckling’. We learnt to read some words from the book and acted out the story. We thought about how the ugly duckling was feeling when others were being cruel to him and we talked about how we should always be kind to everyone, regardless of what they look like. We also painted pictures of ducklings, ducks and swans and stuck feathers on them to make them fluffy!
