The Village that Vanished

Year 4 have started a new text for English called The Village that Vanished by Ann Grifalconi. The class had to imagine that they were villagers of the Yao people, with slavers coming to find them. They grouped up and generated ideas for how they could protect themselves. The class then presented these ideas using persuasive language and voted for their favourites. The children really got into character and did a fantastic job.
