Welcome to Barefoot Island

Year 4 spent the half-term break imagining the work of cartographers as a way of enriching our Geography module on mapping. They each created their own version of “Barefoot Island” in order to get used to charting 3D concepts on a 2D workspace. Their maps included physical features, symbols and keys, a co-ordinate grid and a compass for direction.
