Year 5s enjoyed a great day out at the National Maritime Museum on Monday. We were fascinated to see real items from Shackleton’s failed Antarctic mission in 1915. We have been amazed by Shackleton’s harrowing expedition which we have read about in our English lessons using the wonderful book ‘Ice Trap!’  by M. P. Robertson and Meredith Hooper.
