Today, year 5 enjoyed a visit to the London Eye. We were inspired to visit this popular tourist attraction by Siobhan Dowd’s gripping detective story- The London Eye Mystery, which we have been reading as part of our English lessons. We had a great time riding the ‘Eye’ and picnicking in Jubilee Park on the South Bank. The weather was stunning and London looked fantastic! We were even able to spot our beloved ‘Ally Pally’ in the distance! Looking at the breath-taking views over our beautiful city made us feel incredibly proud and privileged to be able to live in London. Overall, it was a super day.
